THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Prepare and deliver invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance to billing procedures.
  • Administer timesheets and timesheet corrections.
  • Assist the Management Accountant with end of month reporting.
  • Extensive reconciliations and data analysis.
  • Assist consultants in resolving their timesheet related queries.
  • Reply to all emails received in the centralised email box.
  • Assist the Management Accountant to resolve any revenue related issues.
  • All other Ad-hoc tasks that may be provided from time to time basis.
  • Prepare weekly project margin reports to Management Accountants and Project managers and/or SDM’s.
  • Troubleshoot project revenue and margin issues.
  • Clear any revenue exceptions on a weekly basis.
  • Assist AR with any customer issues relating to invoices and non-payment.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 years in a similar Billing or Revenue role within a professional services organization
  • Degree level qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA highly desirable
  • Oracle Financials experience or similar Accounting Systems highly desirable
  • Microsoft Office (intermediate)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data and identify information from monthly trends
  • High attention to detail, and focus on integrity of data
  • Willingness to accept new learning challenges with can do approach to learning.
