RoboThink Iloilo is looking for an energetic, patient, and dedicated STEM Teacher to facilitate learning in a fun and friendly environment. We are a STEM edu-tainment company that introduces children in grades K-8 to robotics and coding concepts through the use of our patented robot building blocks and easy-to-use coding software.

We’re looking to expand our company with smart, creative, and fun teachers to join our team!

Requirements

  • Preferably a graduate of any Education course
  • Willing to undergo a paid training
  • Proficient and fluent in spoken and written English
  • Fun-loving, motivated, and committed
  • Can interact confidently with both parents and children
  • Document daily administrative documents and answer inquiries
  • Update inventory of supplies and materials and create request of supplies/ materials needed
  • Willing to be assigned to different schools or learning centers

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Complete training by familiarizing oneself with RoboThink hardware and course material by carefully studying the teacher training manual, classroom procedures, and policies
  • Conduct classes – pay attention to the individual students to help them with the learning process; organize fun games in class
  • Coordinate daily with the Centre Lead
  • Provide feedback and concerns back to the Centre Lead and/or Director
  • Attend to and resolve issues raised by colleagues, students, and parents
  • Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student’s progress
  • Create and distribute progress reports

(Prior knowledge of robotics/coding is NOT necessary. We are more than happy to provide training to candidates who do not have a robotics/coding background.)
