Facilties Manager

The facilities manager oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff.

Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.

• Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures

• Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements

• Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments

• Oversee facilities staff to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently

• Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors, and handling contracts in relation to the facilities.

• Ensure compliance with current office policies

• Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol

• Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members

• Run routine maintenance inspections

• Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation

• Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes

• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures

• Support asset management, facility maintenance and installation works as needed

• 5 - 10 years of experience in facilities management operations.

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills

• Basic understanding of administration, accounting and finance principles

• Great leadership and problem-solving skills
