ACCOUNTANT SPECIALIST

We are looking for an Accountant Specialist for our French client, who deals with the production of various types of glasses as well as cooperation with opticians. Their mission is to improve the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

• As Accountant Specialist you will be preparing journal entries;
• You will be preparing account reconciliations based on set timeline;
• You will be assisting the Senior Accountant in checking the closing transactions of assigned entities;
• You will be validating the details of the annual budget and quarterly estimate details provided by the entities;
• You will be updating and publishing Estimate and Actual FS Reports for variance or deviation analysis;
• You will be gathering, preparing and analyzing financial information and reports as may be requested by business users;
• You will be monitoring performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance;
• You will be gathering information for the monthly BSC such as feedback received from customers and track timeliness of the delivery of reporting requirements;
• You will be conducting self evaluation based on the PLP process;
• You will be supporting external audit requirements by providing detailed schedules and analyses required by the auditors and local finance.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with audit or financial accounting-related work experience;
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 day onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 day WFH) – Necessary condition;
• Experience with SAP – especially with AP/AR/GL module;
• Experience with SOX compliance;
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office application – especially with Excel;
• Shifting schedules required e.g. Europe time as needed.

• Salary for work amounting to 30,000 – 32,200 PHP;
