Navigating the position: Credit Controller As a Credit Controller at OTG, you will be at the heart of our dynamic and rapidly expanding company, managing the entire invoicing and credit note cycle for our diverse global customer base. This isnt just any role – its an opportunity to take charge of our invoicing processes, ensuring they are timely, accurate, and efficient. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will ensure any backlog is swiftly managed and revenue records are meticulously reconciled. Your Voyage Ahead:

Manage the Invoicing Cycle:

• Oversee the invoicing and credit note cycle for OTG customers.
• Organize tasks and resources to ensure the timely, efficient, and accurate issuance of invoices.

Handle Invoicing Queries:

• Manage escalation and resolution of invoicing queries that can result in slow or non-payment.
• Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve invoicing queries and problems.
• Identify root causes of issues and develop both short-term and long-term solutions to improve invoicing processes.
• Identify queries that may result in the slow or non-payment of customer invoices.

Develop and Implement Invoicing Processes:

• Develop, refine, and implement group invoicing processes and policies.

Monitor and Report Invoicing Backlog:

• Manage, monitor, and report any invoicing backlog, ensuring that backlogs are kept to an acceptable level.

Reconcile Revenue Records:

• Reconcile revenue records on a timely basis and perform checks against budget and forecast.

Achieve Monthly Resolution Targets:

• Meet monthly resolution targets and maintain clean sub ledger accounts.

Prepare Revenue Analysis:

• Prepare revenue analysis with heads of departments for monitoring and reporting.

Ad-hoc Reporting:

• Perform additional ad-hoc reporting as and when required.

Support Company Operations:

• Perform other duties as may arise in connection with the successful operation of the company.

Recommended to bring on board:

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years in invoicing or finance.
• Proficient in managing multiple Accounts Receivable ledgers.
• Experience with multi-currency sales invoices and VAT/Tax regulations.
• Understanding of subscription-based invoicing models.
• Experience with multi-currency invoicing and receipts.

Technical Skills:

• Strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, such as Netsuite or similar platforms.

Personal Attributes:

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence and the ability to influence others effectively.
